Day 7

Breakfast: Bagel with light cream cheese
Lunch: French fries, half a tuna sandwich
Dinner: Stir fry with onions, cauliflower, tofu, and mushrooms

Today was another driving day. Didn't get lost as much, but it's awful hard to poster towns that are literally one road.

I also got some news that was hard to hear at lunch, in a diner, surrounded by business men. I debuted my hat, because it was really cold after I ripped off the scarf I was borrowing and stomped on it. Note to self: kicking a scarf is not remotely constructive. It also makes you look like a crazyface.

The radio stations get scarier the more south you go in the Berkshires. Where I was today, there were 4. I am not exaggerating. One was talk radio, another was country (pre-1970s), one was Christian/gospel, and the last was "variety" which is code for random as all get-out. Welcome to the boonies, we are on the air. I did feel that some higher power was at work when I got a Melissa Etheridge power ballad followed by Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me." Fan-freaking-tastic, if I do say so myself.

Spent the night angrily chopping vegetables to make a very complicated dinner, and then watching "Biggest Loser" with the interns. It's a really unappealing show. Like, really gross. I think I'm gonna go watch some "Bones" to watch that out of my eyes.

Haha, oh, and the room-mate got to go to a special toy shop today to buy a blow-up doll for one of our artists. Her job is hilarious.

Fun Thing Learned Today: Dicing is cathartic.
