Breakfast: 3 soft-boiled eggs, toast, apple juice
Lunch: Mozarella and tomato sandwich
Dinner: Angel hair pasta with mushrooms, cauliflower, and tofu, apple juice
I've decided weekends are going to be my "Experiment with Eggs" days. Omlettes, hard-boiled, and seasoned scrambled to come. It's kind of fun, in a geeky "pretend to be a grown-up" way.
Today we had back-to-back shows. The first was a conversation with Laurie Anderson about her new project "Delusions." She was totally adorable. A little rambly, but very sweet. Tonight was a concert with Hess is More. They're very odd, but also endearing. For their final number, they passed out instruments to the audience and we all played along, like in kindergarten.
Tomorrow I give my first tour. Wish me luck!
Fun Thing Learned Today: Actually a fun quote by Laurie Anderson: "It was then that I realized that grown-ups are crazy. I was so excited to be one!" She was talking about the first time she heard Bible stories, and saw them reenacted on those felt boards with the 2-D characters.
