Breakfast: Bagel with cream cheese (note to self: experiment with toasting tomorrow.)
Lunch: Asian noodles in a bag (ick ick ick. never again.)
Dinner: Angel hair pasta with mushrooms and cauliflower, olive oil and parmesian, apple juice
I bought my tickets to Boston today!! I'm so excited. It's a little frustrating that the shipping costs more than the tickets (thank you FedEx), but I get to go see all my people! Yay! I leave on Thursday after lunch, and my boss is driving me to the station. It's real sweet.
Tomorrow I have to give my trial tour, and it's still not done. I have a very long outline, though!
We had our first Intern Education meeting with the Director of the Museum this afternoon. He told us about how the museum came to be. It was really interesting to hear about all the political shenanigans that went into it-- the Democratic Governor (Dukakis) signed off on everything, and then left office and the new Republican Governor was like, "Absolutely not. That is ridiculous. Contemporary art is for New Yorkers and Parisians." But it made them really think about what kind of museum they wanted, and now it's awesome and not lame. Happily ever after.
I'm sad about Katie Holmes. I'll miss her. A lot. But hopefully she'll leave Scientology eventually and come back to the world of not crazy and ridiculous. She was always so sweet.
Fun Thing Learned Today: OkCupid is addictive, hilarious, and also depressing. Thank goodness the quizzes are good.
